About the Community Team
The Community team is the Heartbeat of Maple. We manage our 12,000+ early adopters, fostering a space where they can share feedback, learn from each other, and help us build a better product. We believe that the best products are built in the open, with the people who use them every day.
Our team is responsible for the health, growth, and sentiment of our community across Discord, Slack, and social channels. We are the bridge between our users and our product team, turning qualitative feedback into actionable product insights.
About the Role
As our Community Lead, you will be the face of Maple to our most passionate users. You'll be responsible for our community channels, our events, and our feedback loops. You'll work closely with the founders and the product team to ensure that the voice of our community is heard at every stage of development.
Responsibilities
- Community Growth: Grow and nurture the Maple early adopter community through strategic outreach and engagement.
- Moderation & Safety: Moderate community channels and ensure a safe, productive, and high-quality environment.
- Events Strategy: Organize and execute virtual and in-person events (meetups, office hours, webinars).
- Product Insights: Distill community feedback and sentiment into actionable insights for the product and engineering teams.
- Content Creation: Create community-focused content, including newsletters, tutorials, and spotlight features.
You may be a good fit if you
- Have 3+ years of experience in community management, customer success, or social media for tech companies.
- Are an Exceptional Communicator: You love connecting with people and can write with empathy, clarity, and wit.
- Master the Tools: You have deep experience managing online communities on Discord, Slack, or Discourse.
- Are Highly Organized: You can manage multiple streams of feedback and prioritize based on impact.
- Have High Agency: You find new ways to delight our users and grow the community without needing a script.
Strong candidates may also have
- Experience with **Data Analytics** to track community health and growth metrics.
- A background in **Event Management or Public Speaking**.
- A passion for **AI and Productivity tools**.
Logistics & Compensation
- Annual Salary: ₹6L – ₹12L.
- Equity: 0.05% – 0.1% founding equity.
- Location Policy: Indore hub or Remote.

- Intro Call (30m): Discussing your community building philosophy.
- Scenario Challenge (Async): Handling a complex community situation.
- Community Strategy Review (60m): Designing a growth plan for our public launch.
- Founder Alignment (45m).
